We are at 170 km.from Veracruz on the coastal highway towards the south, passing Alvarado, Lerdo, Cabada, Santiago Tuxtla, San Andres Tuxtla, reaching Catemaco.
From Catemaco there are 3 ways to arrive at Rancho de Bahia Escondida
1. In particular car: From Catemaco follow the coastal highway towards Acayucan for 5 km. until you reach the village of La Victoria (km 155), Bahia Escondida sign on your right. Turn left into La Victoria, crossing the village and continue strait (3 km. of good dirt road ) until you reach the town of Pozolápan. In Pozolápan turn in the first street on the left (sign Bahia Escondida), passing a bridge, follow the street until you reach the shore of the lake , where you will fund the parking lot.From there it is 10 minutes walk along the banks of the lake until you reach the ranch.
2. From Catemaco the publis transportation for Pozolápan: The small trucks leaves the terminal on Cuathemoc street between Bravo and I.de la Llave, two blocks behind the restaurant La Ceiba. In Pozolápan take the first street on the left (sign Bahia Escondida), crossing a bridge, follow the street until you reach the lake. From there it is a 10 minutes walk along the banks of the lake until you reach the ranch. Hours
• For Pozolapan, every hour from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm every day. $ 7.50 per person, $ 10 extra to reach the lake.

3. In boat: boat service from the restaurant, camping and Trailer Park La Ceiba. Paseo del Malecón s / n, Catemaco. Approx $ 250 depends on the number of people

If you come from Veracruz or Cuatzacualcos, the easier way is taking a second class bus
(los Unidos) which depart every 15 minutes from 6am to 6pm, then every hour until 12 pm, and get off at la Victoria. It takes 4hrs from Veracruz and 3hrs from Cuatza, 1hrs and a half from Acayucan.
